Two be One uses prose, poetry and artwork to create an emotional collection that describes my lost love;
We had that great romance described in the most beautiful of stories, like Romeo and Juliet, only ours was true. I was there, I experienced it and now, thirteen years after the passing of my Beloved I decided it was time to write down our fantastic, beautiful and a little frightening tale. Because when I pass there will be no one here left to remember our love.
My Heart's Image captures our connection on Earth and in Eternity; I always slept with my right hand above the blanket, just so he could find me at night and we could fly together in our dreams. As I grew up, so did he, and I would fall in love with every boy who resembled his image, only to find out again and again that they weren't him. The universe is shown in the eyes of my complement; his body is matter but his soul is eternal and divine and lives among the stars.
Throughout the memoir the language is deeply personal and heartbreaking in describing my emotions. My use of metaphors and fluid thought are unique and natural. The poetry is by the hand of my beloved. The artwork by my own, since I am an Artist. All are oil paintings, 47 in total, word count 5471, 106 pages. The end result may allow readers to grieve and hope along with me.

I believe in Fairytales.
I believe they convey the truth about the soul, the human heart and the universal laws. This truth is deep and can sometimes be a little frightening, and that is why we tell it in Fairytales; it is a gentle way and therefore easier to digest.
When I was a little girl the Fairytale about the princess who was locked in the tower and rescued by Prince Charming made a lot of sense to me, because it reflected my life; I was also locked in a tower of loneliness in a dangerous surrounding.
But I waited patiently, because I knew my Prince Charming was also coming to rescue me. He was somewhere out there, looking for me, searching.
I even knew what he looked like; he was the man of my dreams. And when I was little, so was he, just a boy and when I grew up, so did he. I talked to him in my head and somehow I knew that he could really hear me, because when I was very still I could hear his voice answering me; whispering that everything would be all right, that he loved me so much, that he would find me, just hold on, hold on..
I kept believing in him and when I turned thirteen, I went to my mother and told her; "You know, when I will finally meet my True Love, it will be only for a short while, because there is cancer."
This, of course, frightened her and she replied; "Don't speak like that! By thinking this way you will attract the disease to yourself and die from it." Then I said; "No, you don't understand, it is not I who will die, but my Beloved. He will have cancer." Then I left the room, with my mother standing there, looking stunned.
I kept searching for my long lost Beloved, and so did he, and when we finally found each other we could only have but a few years together, but, oh, what wonderful, exciting and intensely happy years!

My Beloved did not leave me as I had feared. Even after his passing he gave me a message. My mother came to me, she had seen a psychic who told her the following words from my Beloved; My Love, we are Twin Souls. This is our last life here on earth. I love you forever.
This hit me with the force of an earthquake, he still loved me and Twin Souls! Now finally I had a name that described our relationship. Wow!
I wanted to know more about the subject, of course, but there were no books to be found. Not until just recently. I read it and it was a feast of
recognition!
And just like the Fairytales gave me hope, something to hold to, growing up, I believe our story will give you hope and maybe something to believe in as well.
The belief that your most truly Beloved, your long, lost other half, really exists. That person is out there, searching for you right now, you are not alone. True Love will find you.

I am so blessed to have had you in my life, you showed me the way to Love, to my Self, to God.
He must surely exist to have created such a beautiful, pure, shining Being such as you, so I have no doubts anymore; God is Love.

Twin Souls
Allow me to explain how I see Twin Souls; this is your other half, your opposite, your complement.
If you are a woman, your Twin Flame is a man, if you are a man, your Twin Flame is a woman. There is only one.
When we are born as souls we are split into a male and female part and each part has to come to full bloom by itself and then when both parts are ready we meet the other half, our other side of our Selves. When this happens Light is returning to itself and this generates unbelievable amounts of Unconditional Love, so much that with this Light anything is possible; healing hearts, the earth and returning to Heaven.
Then we all also have a group of kindred souls around us, these are your Soul mates. They can be men and women and you probably have them in your close circle of friends and relationships. With them you also experience very deep feelings and big life lessons and they stay with you life after life, so when you meet there is an instant recognition and friendship. This is also unconditional Love, but the power of the Twin Flame Energy surpasses all of this!
If you would like to speed up the process in finding each other, you need to balance the male and female qualities within yourself (you can imagine a yin-yang sign; this is what we are on the inside).
The positive male energy is dynamic, strong, bold and protective. The positive female energy is receptive, loving, nurturing and intuitive. As a woman you have more female energy and less male, still you need to develop them both to the most positive, so you become a strong loving being. And as a male you need to do the same, except you have more of the male energy.
But don't despair if you haven't found your Twin Soul yet, or maybe your Twin Soul is not on this Earth; it is possible to enlighten your current relationship! If you open your heart for your Other Half and make the connection stronger on a spiritual level, you will heighten your energy and then you can lift up your current relationship unto unconditional love and let the Twin Soul Unconditional Love Energy flow through it! How magnificent!
I encountered many people who didn't know about Twin Souls, but they felt it somehow, somewhere deep in their soul. This is because, even if we think we are alone, we actually are not. The symbol above is showing the Twin Soul, the two rings are the individual personalities, but they are linked together and can never be separated, because they are one soul.
I feel it is now time, in this coming age of Aquarius, for the Twins to meet and couple, for I believe that the Twin Soul Energy will heal our beautiful planet Gaia and bring Heaven down, right here on earth.

I met and married my Twin Soul, both of us knowing that he would die soon after. His passing devastated me and I began painting as a way of dealing with the pain.
I needed to express my deep feelings of loss, loneliness, and grief. And also my unending, soul-shaking, death-defying Love. I needed to paint the face of my Beloved, while my physical eyes could still hold his memory.
Now, thirteen years later, I find that my paintings tell our whole story and in larger perspective tell the story of all of us, souls-in-bodies here on earth.
All of the paintings are painted by me; Jennifer, and are signed with Aurora, which means Goddess of Light. I choose this name because that's what the paintings did for me; they shed a light on my process and helped me return to the Light by releasing fear, pain and hurt. They are all oil paintings on canvas. I have put so many symbols in my paintings since the deepest truths can only be approached through fairytales , myths and symbols. Therefore I hope you read my paintings, feel the truth in them, maybe even link them with a phase in your own life. Then you can read the text, it consists of my personal story and a short explanation of the symbols used.

Twin Soul Creation is the movement between splitting and unification. This is also how it works with the creation of Souls.
By the interaction between the masculine and feminine aspect of the Father-Mother-God begins the splitting of one Soul into many. Then, in the final stage each soul has to endure one last splitting. In mirroring the dualistic nature of Father-Mother-God the masculine and feminine qualities are gathered together in two equal halves, each holding the seed of the other within itself, thus creating polarity (yin-yang), and giving them the way back to unification and wholeness.
In this splitting each Soul becomes conscious and feels the pain of separation. Separation from the Source and separation from the Self.
We now have to go on a Journey, become whole in oneself, find our missing Half, unite and then we can return to God; conscious, whole, united in Unconditional Love and filled with adventures and memories.
Then we can return Home!
The colour purple represents the highest, spiritual colour. The orbs are other souls still in their prenatal stage.

Innocence
Now we begin our descend to Earth.
The male half takes a masculine body and the female half takes a feminine body as the expression of the energy made manifest.
Then we are born as babies; pure and innocent. We enter this world with trust and an open heart and over our minds we pull the veil of Maya (forgetfulness).

Then we become children, playfully dancing and discovering life.
I am pointing my hand and foot towards Heaven, because I'm trying to hold on to my memory of it.
The wings are from a dragonfly; in Shamanism this represents the doorway to the Dreamtime.
Orange here is Life-energy, white for innocence and black for the subconscious, the unknown.
Flowers signify hope and joy as well as immortality.
